Bristol & Somerset Baby Naming Celebrant
Pricing & Packages
Naming days for babies are one of the most joyful occasions for families as they are a way for the family and often wider social circle and community to welcome the child and celebrate their arrival. They also help to give the child a sense of belonging and identity, which is also of particular value for older adopted children.
I will spend time with you to understand your family dynamic and collect stories so that I can craft a personalised ceremony that’s perfect you so that it feels intimate and incredibly special, which of course it is.
My inimitable approach of combining a sense of occasion and a sprinkling of (appropriate) humour combined with grace and elegance ensures you can relax and revel in every joyful moment.

If your baby or child has siblings you may wish to consider a Sand Blending Ceremony.
Blended families are part of today’s society and a wonderful way to celebrate the different components and ‘colours’ of a new family coming together through, a new baby, an adoption or a new commitment is with the sand blending ceremony.
Each member of the family chooses a different colour of sand, and each member takes turns to pour their colours into a beautiful vessel making a rainbow mosaic to keep and treasure.
Each colour will stand alone but the sands can never be separated meaning that each colour is part of the whole family work of art.
The price for a personalised sand ceremony is £25 which does not include the sand or vessel.

Creating a memory of the special naming day is a gift that keeps on giving and can be reopened at a significant time in the future. For example, the guide parents, grandparents, parents and caregivers can choose something to ‘gift’ the baby or child on their special day.
These items may reflect their relationship or the blessings they wish to bestow the baby or child. Perhaps on an 18th birthday, these may then be opened as a reminder of how loved they have been.
Special words will be spoken surrounding the nature of the gifts and the sentiment behind them and the Memory box can be stored away for the future or put in pride of place.
The ceremony costs £25, excluding the box which will be supplied by you.

The simple but symbolically beautiful ritual of planting a rose bush can mean so much in so many different ways. The planting is integral to your ceremony, demonstrating both the love for the new child and something which you can nurture and watch grow alongside your child.
The rose is the traditional and international symbol of love and can be used for ceremonies to show every kind of love.
The price for a personalised rose ceremony is £40 which includes the rose bush.

Although not a legally binding contract, the Certificate is a wonderful memento of the day and gives the photographer a wonderful opportunity to capture the moment of signing the certificate. This can be just yourselves or you can invite the celebrant to sign, or any number of witnesses. Each certificate is personalised to your ceremony colours.
The price for a personalised certificate is £25.
